Sharm El Sheikh is the first basin to be protected by environmental laws in the entire Red Sea: in 1989, the National Park of Ras Mohamed was established, with a permanent staff of scientists and rangers working to enforce compliance with environmentally sound rules of behaviour. We are located in Sharm El Maya bay, the site of the original fishing village at the Iberotel Palace Hotel.
