Ooidonk is one of the most beautiful castles of our country and a gem example of the Flemish-Spanish architecture (16th century). This magnificent and sumptuous building can be found in one of the many bends of the Lys river. This mediaeval castle was reconstructed at the end of the 16th century and acquired as a result a more residential quality. The interior introduces the visitor to rare pieces of furniture, paintings, historical artefacts, tapestry, etc.
