Introduction, Asanoya

ASANOYA is a ryokan-style hotel located in Yumura Onsen, Hyogo. The exterior of the hotel resembles a Japanese castle. The features include a relaxing onsen bathing experience and delicious Japanese meals prepared with the finest ingredients. A luxurious stay is guaranteed.

Details, Asanoya

Discovered about 1150 years ago, the hot springs of Yumura Onsen daily produce 3,000 tons of 98-degree C hot water (about 2000 litters per minute). The town is well-known as the place where the writer Akira Hayasaka wrote Yumechiyo's Diary. A TV drama and film based on the story have been produced in the town. Some of the guest rooms are equipped with outdoor tubs, which are made of 1000-year-old Hinoki trees. Warm water is supplied throughout the hotel from the hotel's own hot spring. Asanoya provides unique hospitality following such Japanese traditions as tea ceremony, flower arrangements and incense ceremony: ・ Powdered green tea, or matcha, is served to the guests in the lobby at their arrival. ・ The guest rooms and corridors are decorated with flower arrangements. ・ The lobby is filled with the fragrant smell of burning incense. If requested, traditional war garments called Jinbaori are available for you to wear during your meal.
