The ICC Congress Center was built in the 70s by Bontinck, the famous Ghent architect. Over the years, the International Congress Center in Ghent's Citadel Park has been continually refurbished to meet the requirements of the congress and events industry. Both the look of the building and its equipment have been refined down to the smallest detail.    In 2005, the ICC Congress Centre changed its name to the International Convention Center ghent. The name 'convention center' better reflects what the ICC ghent has to offer: the centre has not just congress facilities, but also an events hall, meeting facilities, a theatre auditorium, an exhibition complex, etc. It can accommodate any possible activity. Congress Valley NV has been running the ICC since 1999. They, our main shareholder, hold the trump cards of financial clout, know-how and experience. This combination makes for a successful, modern center and lends a new sparkle to Citadel Park and the City of Ghent.
