Prvý Golf Club Trenčín, Trenčín

The golf club in Trenčín was founded in the year 2001. The official name of the club: „Prvý Golf Club of Trenčín“, which translates to „First Golf Club of Trenčín“.

At the time of start-up, the beautiful and challenging sport of golf was increasing quickly in popularity through Central Europe, and local residents living near Trenčín have enjoyed playing the great game of golf. Our charming driving range is nestled in a very beautiful setting in the valley of Skalka nad Vahom, 10 minutes from Trenčín’s city center. Prvý Golf Club (PGC) is fully equipped with 14 tee boxes. This includes 4 tee boxes which are roof covered so you can even practice when the weather is less than ideal. Our club has more than 150 members and growing. As part of our club membership we schedule several traveling tournaments, including our popular club championship in Hainburg, Austria. Additionally, we stage many golfing activities including golf clinics, private instruction, as well as social gatherings with members at the range/clubhouse area. We are in the process of opening a formal Golf Academy at the end of the year of 2010.
