Dogan Trading PTY (LTD) Licensed for Automechanika
This is the joint venture between the Johannesburg Expo Centre and South African Show Services. Messe Frankfurt has granted Dogan Trading the rights to host its Automechanika exhibition. South Africa is the thirteenth country to host this prestigious event which has been showcased in various countries, including Russia, China and Thailand.

Exhibition Venue of Choice
Although Expo Centre is probably best known for one of Johannesburg’s much loved consumer exhibitions, the annual Rand Show, it is also home to several other well known exhibitions, including:
Automechanika – the largest automotive trade show and the second largest trade show in the world. South Africa is the thirteenth country to host this prestigious event which has been hosted by the various countries including Russia, Mexico, China and Thailand.
Electra Mining – the biggest trade exhibition in southern Africa and the second largest mining trade exhibition in the world. –
Elenex Africa – Africa’s leading power generation, electrical engineering and lighting exhibition and runs concurrently with Electra Mining Africa.
JIMS (Johannesburg International Motor Show) – Africa’s premier consumer motoring show. As the only show in Africa with accreditation from the International Organisation of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA) , it provides an opportunity for member companies to showcase their wares to the public as well as encourage business to business opportunities.
MegaFest – One of the largest religious gatherings in the U.S.A with Bishop TD Jakes, will be making its international debut in South Africa. MegaFest is a positive, family-friendly experience that offers a wide variety of opportunities for growth, empowerment and wholesome fun.
The Star Interbuild Africa - together with co-locating shows Plubdrain Africa, Glass Expo Africa and Woodpro Africa, is the largest building services, construction, plumbing, glass, aluminium and woodworking exhibition in Africa.

Expo Centre has also hosted several high profile conferences, including the second phase of the 23rd National Congress of the ANC Youth League (ANCYL) in 2008; high profile guests included ANC president, Jacob Zuma.
Our Finest Hour
There is no doubt that Expo Centre’s finest hour will come when it hosts the International Broadcast Centre (IBC) for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
The IBC will be the nerve centre for all television operations and world news agencies during the world cup. This is a mammoth undertaking and Expo Centre’s selection (amidst fierce competition) speaks volumes about the centre’s facilities and capabilities.
