We are an incoming destination management company devising programmes and hosting groups, large and small, for conference and incentive travel on the Maltese Islands. But this is just the definition. What we really do is create, shape and meticulously organise client programmes as diverse as the people we host.
We’ve been in the business well over a decade and are past masters at the art of inventing and delivering innovative programmes that exceed expectations yet meet our clients’ exact requirements. We are pioneers in our sector locally, and are always finding new ways to interpret the meaning of standard events such as gala dinners or team-building exercises.
At Events, we work in close liaision with your personnel to ensure the right match and mix of history, culture, leisure options and programme activities to suit the personality and needs of your group.
Events Travel was set up in 1991 by our founder and managing director Mark Borg Costanzi. In the past decade or so, we’ve hosted groups ranging from a dozen or so clients in an incentive team to major conferences with over 1,500 delegates.
We are regularly sought after for repeat business in view of the high level of service and commitment to detail which we afford to all our clients.
We have several ‘firsts’ to our credit which differentiate us from others in our industry here. We were the first CIT company on the Islands to devise the idea of hosting gala events in the Capital’s major square, Piazza Regina. We also took up the challenge of transforming several of the Islands’ stunning, baroque village squares into dining venues with a difference.
At Events, we make it our job to challenge ourselves every day and try out the incentive proposals we put together. We live here and know the Islands intimately, so if something gives us a different take on things around us, then it’s passed the ultimate test. We are constantly creating incentive activities afresh to ensure your group has an action-packed stay to remember, and to thank you for.
For convenience and continuity, many of our clients opt to use the conference facilities within their hotel of choice. All our partner hotels have excellent, fully-equipped, in-house conference halls, syndicate rooms and business centres as well as flexible dining options, ranging from poolside al fresco eateries to al la carte restaurants - often specialising in Asian and other world cuisines - as well as ballroom and banqueting suites.
